New Hours and New Produce at the Rancho Santa Fe Farmers Market!

RSFFM Susie RadishesThe Rancho Santa Fe Farmers Market has changed our hours to better suit our customers!  Starting this Sunday, the Market will take place from 9:30am-2:00pm every Sunday.  We are happy to be able to provide a little more time for our afternoon shoppers to relax and enjoy their Market experience!

You can now enjoy the afternoons at the Rancho Santa Fe Farmers Market even longer!  Join us this Sunday from 9:30 am – 2:00 pm and explore all of our new vendors, delicious foods and fresh produce.  Plus, listen to some live gypsy jazz by Patrick Berrogain as you shop for the fresh ingredients to make this weeks Market recipe, a sprouted breakfast bowl.

DON’T FORGET, our weekly Rancho Santa Fe Certified Farmers Market is open from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM in the Del Rayo Village Shopping Center.  Look for your favorites and new vendors each week and check out the new tenants in the center while you are there.

Nibble Chocolate is handcrafted in small batches from single origin cocoa beans with only two ingredients in San Diego, California.  They offer ethical chocolate with no artificial flavors, chemicals, GMOs, or any of those shenanigans that trick our taste buds.  Their chocolate is REAL and is diligently handcrafted and represents its true origin.  Stop by their booth on Sunday to taste their mouthwatering Chocolate that will just force you to close your eyes and smile.

This weeks Rancho Santa Fe Fresh Market Recipe is…

RSF Farmers Market Sprouted Breakfast Bowl

RSFFM Recipe Sprouted Breakfast Bowl


  • 1 half butternut squash, cooked and cubed (Sage Mountain Farm)
  • 1 red potato, cooked (Sage Mountain)
  • 3 green onions, thinly sliced (African Sisters Farm)
  • 1 tablespoon rosemary infused extra virgin olive oil (Thyme of Essence)
  • 1 white heirloom carrot, thinly sliced (African Sisters Farm)
  • 1 stalk celery, thinly sliced (African Sisters Farm)
  • 2 Rainbow Chard Leaves, thinly sliced (African Sisters Farm)
  • 2 heirloom tomatoes, diced (Valdivia Farms)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro (African Sisters Farm)
  • 1/4 bacon avocado (Atkins Farm)
  • 1 pinch micro greens sporuts, mild blend (Lath House Garden)
  • 1 pinch amaranth sprouts (Lath House Garden)
To Prepare
Over medium heat warm the olive oil and gently saute the squash, potato, green onions, carrots, and celery for five minutes, covered, while stirring occasionally.  Add in the chard, half of the tomatoes, and cilantro continuing to cook covered for two minutes, stirring as needed.
Divide into two serving bowls and top with remaining tomatoes, avocado and sprouts.  Serves 2 or can be used as a side dish and will serve 4. (Vegan) Enjoy!

Mindy is waiting to meet you at Helen Woodward Animal Center. She has been altered and is up-to-date on all of her vaccinations.  Her adoption fee is $106, and, as with all pets adopted from Helen Woodward Animal Center, she is micro chipped for identification.  As an added bonus, she also comes with two free passes to Sea World!

Helen Woodward Animal Center is located at 6461 El Apajo Road in Rancho Santa Fe. Kennels are open daily Monday through Thursday from 12pm to 6pm; Fridays from noon to 7pm; Saturdays 10am to 6pm; and Sunday 11am to 6pm (last application accepted 15 minutes before closing).”
