Royal Grapes & Asian Pears with Aged Balsamic for Dessert
With temperatures creeping back up this week, I decided to keep it easy yet elegant!
- 4 servings Gazpacho To-Go (Emilio’s)
- 1 ear raw corn on the cob (Valdivia Farms)
- 1/4 Persian cucumber with skin, chopped (Sage Mountain or Lath House Gardens)
- 2 large heirloom tomatoes, sliced (Valdivia or Lath House Gardens)
- 2 oz basil sprouts (Lath House Gardens)
- extra virgin olive oil (Smit Orchards/Thyme of Essence)
- 2 large Asian pears, chilled (Smit Orchards)
- 1 bunch Royal Grapes, sliced (Smit Orchards)
- Pear Balsamic (Thyme of Essence)
- Knife for corn (Japanese Select Knives)
Pour Emilio’s Fresh Gazpacho into shallow soup bowls, garnish with two slices of the heirloom tomatoes. Remove the husk and silk from the corn and scrape the kernels off with Japanese knife.
