The Macaron Shop SD
The owner of The Macaron Shop, Juliana, started making macarons for her boyfriend’s catering company since they wanted to offer desserts and wanted to make something special for their clients. He introduced her to the food industry and now they both run their own food businesses and cross promote each other. It wasn’t until the pandemic struck that Juliana focused on baking. She watched tutorials online, practiced after many failed attempts, and mastered the art of making macarons. The flavors were such a hit that they decided to start taking orders and slowly grew a clientele base. This company would be nothing without the people that support us, so thank you to everyone that has purchased! Now we provide macarons for delivery, for catering, and at events in our community!
We use only the freshest ingredients to create the best tasting macarons. We pride ourselves in mastering each flavor making sure each one has the highest quality taste. We try to support local vendors when we can and think it’s important to support small businesses like ourselves. Full ingredient listings are available!

Helen Woodward Animal Center Pet Of The Week
Lovely Laura is Sweet as Chocolate!
Laura is a sweet chocolate Retriever blend that will instantly melt your heart. She is a very high-energy 6-month-old puppy who needs a backyard to run off her zoomies and go on long walks. Laura loves to play with her fellow canine friends and will make quick friends anywhere, both human and dog. She would love active parents who can give her lots of attention. Laura has a lot of love to share and if you are looking for that unconditional love, Laura is your girl!
She is waiting to meet you at Helen Woodward Animal Center. Her adoption fee is $455. She has been altered and is up-to-date on all of her vaccinations. As with all pets adopted from Helen Woodward Animal Center, she is microchipped for identification.
Helen Woodward Animal Center is located at 6461 El Apajo Road in Rancho Santa Fe. Kennels are open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information call 858-756-4117, option #1 or visit animalcenter.org.
