This Week’s RSF Fresh Market Recipe is. . . Quick and Easy Crepes for a Delicious Gourmet Dinner

Swiss Chard, Cremini Mushroom and Tomato Crepes with Rotisserie Chicken

What you will need and where to find it: (Serves 4 to 6) Prep time 25 minutes

  • 4 to 6 fresh crepes to go (Oh La Vache)
  • 1 rotisserie chicken, skin removed (Rolswisserie)
  • 2 cups chopped Swiss chard (Sage Mountain or Kawano Farms)
  • 2 cups sliced Cremini mushrooms (Ebible Alchemy)
  • 1 clove garlic minced (Valdivia)
  • 1 cup quartered cherry tomatoes (Valdivia)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 TBL Herbs de Provence (Thyme of Essence)
  • 1/2 cup grated Gruyere cheese (Thyme of Essence)
  • 1/4 tsp of Black Truffle Seed Salt (Be Runa)
  • 1 TBL extra virgin olive oil (Thyme of Essence)


To Prepare:

Preheat oven to 350.  Pour chicken broth into a large deep skillet (skillet should be over medium high heat) and add garlic, Swiss chard, mushrooms, and tomato. Season with pepper, nutmeg, seed salt and Herbs de Provence. Toss to coat. Chop chicken into small bite size pieces and add to skillet.  Add grated Gruyere cheese and toss to coat again. Scoop into crepe and fold over. Sprinkle a little more Gruyere over the crepe if you would like.

Place crepe in the oven for 10 minutes to warm. Serve and enjoy!

Helen Woodward Animal Center introduces Marley and Milo, looking for forever homes!


Meet Milo!

Meet Milo and Marley, Pets-of-the-Week at Helen Woodward Animal Center! This bonded pair of two-year old Domestic Short Hair blends are upping the ante with double snuggles and double the fun of a single adoption. With sweet personalities and lively, playful antics, they’ll liven up any room.

Though now is a tough time, they have stood by each other through thick and thin and have faith that their forever family and best years are ahead of them.


Meet Marley!


Milo and Marley are waiting to meet you at Helen Woodward Animal Center. They have been altered and are up-to-date on all of their vaccinations. Their adoption fees are $119 each, and, as with all pets adopted from Helen Woodward Animal Center, they are micro chipped for identification.  As an added bonus, Milo and Marley also come with two free passes to Sea World!

Helen Woodward Animal Center is located at 6461 El Apajo Road in Rancho Santa Fe. Kennels are open daily Monday through Thursday from 12pm to 6pm; Fridays from noon to 7pm; Saturdays 10am to 6pm; and Sunday 11am to 6pm (last application accepted 15 minutes before closing).”
