Vendor Spotlight

Arslan’s Gyros

Delicious Spanakopita, Gyros Salads, Bean Salads and more tempt your tastebuds and await you at the Market! A few more of Arslan’s Gyros tasty creations include: Lamb, beef, and chicken gyros, Chevapchichi, whole fish, Falafel, Dolmas, and more. Arslan’s Gyro is packed with authentic, incredible flavor. Don’t forget to cool off with fresh pressed orange juice or lemonade with berries and mint!

A famed couple of restaurateurs and chefs in their native Bosnia, then a part of Yugoslavia, Arslan and Vahida were forced into flight during the Balkan Wars, Taking with them, in silence, the vast inherited tradition of their regions cuisine, and decades-long experience in making those traditions their own, Arslan and Vahida worked their way through the harsh life of a new-refugee, learning the language and ways of their adopted homeland.

The couple was never far from restaurants, and soon opened the precious cargo that they’d gathered in a former life, that they’d carried throughout the entirety of a new one. The vision of a restaurant on the water, made manifest in Arslan’s Gyros, was the content of that cargo box. Come experience the culmination, and re-ignition, of a life spent in a kitchen, come experience an American success story, come experience Arslan’s Gyros.

If you haven’t made this one of your favorite market spots, you need to add it to your list this Sunday!

Lexi and Lil are a match made in heaven. These fun gals are both 3-year-old BFF’s who love to share their contagiously exciting and outgoing personalities with everyone they meet.
