Helen Woodward Animal Center Pet Of The Week
Don’t You Love Muffin, Man?
Not many people know this, but Helen Woodward Animal Center is home to one of the best bakeries in the world. The secret to its success? A 3-year-old cat named Muffin! From her cat condo in the far corner of the Center’s cattery, Muffin will knead dough all day, every day. Her passion for dough work stems from the pure joy she experiences while laying in bed. When she’s not kneading dough, she’s trying out new ways to stretch without leaving her incredibly cozy cot. While Muffin’s motor tends to run silent, if one of her favorite people comes up to her cat condo and gives her very well-earned head pats and neck scratchies, she’ll purr herself into the comfiest nap anyone could ever ask for.
Muffin is waiting to meet you at Helen Woodward Animal Center. Her adoption fee is $130 plus a $36 microchip fee. She has been altered and is up-to-date on all of her vaccinations. She is microchipped for identification as with all pets adopted from Helen Woodward Animal Center.
Helen Woodward Animal Center is located at 6461 El Apajo Road in Rancho Santa Fe. Kennels are now open seven days a week. Monday through Thursday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information call 858-756-4117, extension #1, or visit animalcenter.org.
