Martinez Farms
This week, check out Martinez Farms and try their incredible fresh BERRIES! Our Market customers can’t stop raving about how tasty, flavorful, and fresh they are!
Martinez Farms is a young farm, operating out of San Luis Obispo County. Their location gives them the perfect weather conditions for incredible berries, and allows them to use water from the Sacramento aqueduct, which is sweet and full of minerals from the Sierra Nevada.
The owner of Martinez Farms has his roots in Oaxaca Mexico, with a tradition of many generations of growers. Martinez Farms always grows in open fields, following the ancient ways of farming in growing.
Stop by this Sunday to try and fall in love with their incredible berries and vegetables!

We’re Closed for Christmas & New Year’s Eve!
The Holidays are all about taking a moment to relax and spend quality time with your loved ones. The Market will be closed on Sunday, December 24th and Sunday, December 31st. We will re-open on Sunday, January 7th, 2024!

Who Doesn’t Love Flounder?!
A dog named Flounder might conjure images of an overweight pooch lazing about on the couch on a hot summer’s day, refusing to go on his afternoon walkie. This Flounder couldn’t be farther from that preconception. This Flounder has an unstoppable love for life. This Flounder adores people and he’s not afraid to meet new friends. This Flounder delights in chasing after tennis balls in the yard if only to see the smile it puts on his human’s face. This Flounder intentionally loses at Tug-o-War. This Flounder is a 5-month-old Terrier/Cattle Dog blend. And this happy Flounder is looking for his forever home.
Flounder is waiting to meet you at Helen Woodward Animal Center. His adoption fee is $469 plus a $36 microchip fee each. He has been altered and is up-to-date on all of his vaccinations. He’s microchipped for identification as with all pets adopted from Helen Woodward Animal Center.
Helen Woodward Animal Center is located at 6523 Helen Woodward Way in Rancho Santa Fe. Kennels are open daily Monday through Friday 12 to 6 p.m.; Saturdays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (last application accepted 15 minutes before closing).
