Helen Woodward Animal Center Pet Of The Week
Poppy the Pop Sensation!
Helen Woodward Animal Center has a new resident musician in the cattery! Poppy, an 18-month-old orange tabby, has spent the last few weeks practicing her scales and serenading her neighbors. Now, she’s ready to release her debut album, Meows Meows until Midnight. Rolling Stone magazine gave the record a purrfect 10 out of 10, citing lead single Poppyrazzi as the song of a generation and worthy of placement in the Library of Congress. Poppy’s fans have called her a tabby de force, and cite her impromptu cat condo concerts as, “a pivotal event in the history of catkind.” When asked if she’s excited for her upcoming world tour, Poppy said, “I’d really rather just find a forever family.”
Poppy is waiting to meet you at Helen Woodward Animal Center. Her adoption fee is $145 plus a $36 microchip fee. She has been altered and is up-to-date on all of her vaccinations. She is microchipped for identification as with all pets adopted from Helen Woodward Animal Center.
Helen Woodward Animal Center is located at 6461 El Apajo Road in Rancho Santa Fe. Kennels are now open seven days a week. Monday through Thursday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information call 858-756-4117, extension #1, or visit animalcenter.org.
