A Very Aunt Mary Italian Cookie Co.
A Very Aunt Mary Italian Cookie Co is a family-run business. Our cookies are “homemade” in a commercial kitchen and baked fresh each week! When you visit our booth at the Farmers Market you are treated like a guest to our home. We love to engage in conversation and enjoy your company.
Our baked goods will have slight imperfections due to the homemade process. Don’t let this fool you – they are mighty tasty!! We use range free eggs, real butter and real extracts – No imitation and no lemon concentrate either. Our organic lemons are freshly squeezed for your enjoyment. If milk is needed in a recipe, we use lactose free.
Aunt Mary is the first American-born daughter of Sicilian parents. Mary and Frank, who work the Sunday market together each week, met in high school and have been together ever since. From time to time you will even meet their son Nick, the youngest of their two sons, who occasionally comes to market to work for Mom.
We respect the needs of others in regards to food allergies. We prefer you not make a purchase if you are in doubt. We will help our disabled customers as well if special attention is required. Mary herself is legally blind and when you get to know her she loves to tease about how she never mixes the salt for sugar.
Besides party trays, these cookies make great gifts and engagement/bridal shower favors!

Edible Alchemy is bringing a tasty frozen treat for us! Last Sunday, Edible Alchemy served up a new addition to their large array of delicious, fermented foods – Kombucha Sorbet! The sorbet is here to stay and the 3 flavors will rotate between mango, peach, and hibiscus. Stop by and try a tasty treat this Sunday to beat the heat!

Helen Woodward Animal Center Pet Of The Week
Peanut, Butter, and YOU!
Happily nestled together, Peanut and Butter seem complete, but that’s not the case. They’re missing you! They are a bonded, 8-month old pair of Domestic Medium Hair kittens who love playing, lounging, and each other. Watching them romp and pounce together may cause some envy, but don’t be (jelly)ous… just join in!
Peanut and Butter are waiting to meet you at Helen Woodward Animal Center. They have been altered and are up-to-date on all of their vaccinations. Their adoption fee is $140 total. As with all pets adopted from Helen Woodward Animal Center, they are micro-chipped for identification. As an added bonus, they also comes with two free passes to Sea World.
Helen Woodward Animal Center is located at 6461 El Apajo Road in Rancho Santa Fe. Kennels are open daily Monday through Thursday from 12pm to 6pm; Fridays from noon to 7pm; Saturdays 10am to 6pm; and Sunday 11am to 6pm (last application accepted 15 minutes before closing).
