Since 2020, Melanie Dunwell and her team have been making quality pet treats in Southern California. We love our pets and believe that better food means a better life, which ultimately means more years of love.
Pets Deserve Quality Treats.
Pets deserve to have the same high-quality food that we would expect for ourselves. We have chosen to use only superior ingredients that contain many nutritional benefits and flavors pets love. 100% of the ingredients we use are approved by the USDA. Our treats contain no feed-grade ingredients, by-products, fillers, or preservatives.
Pets are Family.
Our founder, Melanie, has a pet of her own and built True Pet Kitchens because of her love for animals:
“I grew up with a deep love for animals. I had two dogs in my family growing up. A German Shepherd named Diamond and a Golden Retriever named Kasey.
I quickly learned from Diamond and Kasey just what a special bond humans and dogs can share. They are always happy to see you. They are always there when you need a shoulder to lean on. They are extremely empathetic and never judgmental. You can tell them your biggest fears, mistakes and failures. They are amazing at keeping secrets. They are always there to protect you and lick your tears when you cry. They truly are your best friend.”

Everything is made in our Southern California kitchens, not in big factories or plants. Moreover, all of our treats are made by hand, in small batches.

Sweet and Silly Swift!
Swift is ready for her Love Story to begin! This Fearless 6-month-old Labrador Retriever blend is waiting for The Best Day where she finds her Forever and Always home. Speak Now if you want her to join you, she has a Blank Space in her heart and she’ll write your name. Swift has a silly side to her, she could Shake It Off with her favorite humans all day long. Let Swift be your Lover and the 1 who will be there for you through all your ERAS. She’s ready to experience the Happiness a loving home can bring her. This girl isn’t an Anti-Hero, she has this thing where she gets older and would love to get wiser with your help. One of her Wildest Dreams is to snuggle up with her forever family. Swift is waiting to meet you at Helen Woodward Animal Center. Her adoption fee is $409 plus a $36 microchip fee. She has been altered and is up-to-date on all of her vaccinations. She’s microchipped for identification as with all pets adopted from Helen Woodward Animal Center.
