A Plant Based Production is creating a lifestyle movement by handcrafting healthy ingredient foods and showcasing the extraordinary benefits the plant based lifestyle embodies towards a more sustainable and brighter future!
A message from the founder:
On February 10, 2017, my then roommate and I watched Food Choices on Netflix. Immediately after watching the documentary we threw away all animal products, dairy and processed foods. One month later, my parents altered their menu choice at my brother’s wedding and chose the plant based diet. Since that time, we have not deviated from the best choice we have ever made!
Why did I adopt a plant based diet and lifestyle?
I have seen family members pass too soon from cancer and have seen other family members battle obesity. Our current food system is creating man made diseases knowingly, enriching the pharmaceutical industry, and shortening the lives of those who are misinformed and uneducated. Since 2017, my passion for learning and preaching about the positive impacts the plant based lifestyle has on our planet has grown immensely. In March 2021, I launched our podcast to further educate and spread our message.

L’Amour is Bringing the Love!
They say there isn’t a lap L’amour doesn’t love. This 15-month-old Domestic Short Hair cat is the purrfect companion and most certainly lives up to his name. The second you sit down, this nearly 12-pound furry ball of love and affection will find his way into your lap where he’ll purr and nuzzle you until you fall asleep. This fond fluffball isn’t just a one trick kitty. Introduce him to a wand and feather or crumpled paper – his playful side will open right up. There’s not much you could do to upset this laid back, fuzzy friend. Once he settles into your home, he maintains an easy going, playful nature at all hours of the day. While L’amour really is the pawfect cat for any setting, he will truly thrive in a home where he can be your trusty coworker and receive lots of pets throughout the day.
L’Amour is waiting to meet you at Helen Woodward Animal Center. His adoption fee is $145. He has been altered and is up-to-date on all of his vaccinations. He is microchipped for identification as with all pets adopted from Helen Woodward Animal Center.
Helen Woodward Animal Center is located at 6523 Helen Woodward Way in Rancho Santa Fe. Kennels are open daily Monday through Friday 12 to 6 p.m.; Saturdays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (last application accepted 15 minutes before closing).
