Our Pastrami Sandwiches
Our signature sandwich is the pastrami dip – a hot, juicy, smoked pastrami, served on a soft roll, dipped in our house au jus, and topped with yellow mustard and chopped pickles. This mouth watering sandwich is a must!
Our Hot Dogs
The Pastrami Stand is your go-to spot for the best hot dogs in San Diego! Our all-beef Vienna hot dog is a classic that can’t be beat. The Pastrami dog is our signature dog topped with New York style pastrami, chopped dill pickles, and yellow mustard. Our combination of ingredients is sure to tantalize your taste buds and provide you with the perfect snack – whether you’re on the go or looking for a quick lunch. Our hot dogs are sure to satisfy everyone’s cravings, and leave them wanting more!
Our Matzo Ball Soup
At The Pastrami Stand, we take pride in making the best matzo ball soup in town. Our chicken soup recipe has been passed down for generations and is made with only the freshest ingredients. Our matzo balls are light and fluffy and will warm your soul.

Helen Woodward Animal Center Pet Of The Week
Grandpa Odie
Odie likes getting comfy in his chair. He doesn’t like the young whippersnappers next door constantly meowing their gosh darn rock n roll music. He likes being pet behind his head. He doesn’t do surprises. Odie likes his meals – breakfast and dinner are among the favorite parts of his day. He claims to dislike the immature frivolities of toys, but we’ve all caught him playing with his stuffed mouse when he thought no one was looking. He likes climbing to his perch and watching the world go by. But most of all, Odie likes the idea of settling down and living out his very early retirement with a kindred soul. Though Odie may act like a gruff grandpa, in truth, he wants nothing more than to be your little man.
Odie is waiting to meet you at Helen Woodward Animal Center. His adoption fee is $85 plus a $36 microchip fee. He has been altered and is up-to-date on all of his vaccinations. He is microchipped for identification as with all pets adopted from Helen Woodward Animal Center.
Helen Woodward Animal Center is located at 6461 El Apajo Road in Rancho Santa Fe. Kennels are now open seven days a week. Monday through Thursday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information call 858-756-4117, extension #1, or visit animalcenter.org.
