Mountain Meadow Mushroom Farms, Inc. is a farm located in the rural area of Escondido in the greater North County San Diego. Mountain Meadow Mushroom prides itself in growing the freshest mushroom in the market today. They are PrimusGFS and USDA Organic certified and pride themselves in being pesticide-free. The farm specializes in white button mushroom, crimini and exotics like; shiitake, oyster, king trumpet, maitake, reishi, turkey tail, cordyceps, pioppino, and lion’s mane.
Mountain Meadow Mushroom Farms also sells mushroom growing kits (a GREAT gift), and gives their spent compost FREE to the public. For more information, stop by this Sunday for some fresh mushrooms to enjoy during your week and chat with the lovely team!

You Can’t Live Without Halsey
If you’re looking for a popstar kitty that’s not afraid to purr to her own beat, you can’t “Ghost” Halsey. This two-year-old Brown Tabby isn’t a prop for your sitcom drama, and even though her shy side may make her seem “Bad at Love”, once you win her trust she’ll be more than willing to catch you when you fall and put you right back on your feet. Halsey LOVES pets and isn’t afraid to receive them. The key to winning her heart is by respecting her independence and letting her come to you. Halsey’s sophistication fits best in a home with adults and/or older kids who appreciate her steady approach to life.
Halsey is waiting to meet you at Helen Woodward Animal Center. Her adoption fee is $45. She has been altered and is up-to-date on all of his vaccinations. She is microchipped for identification as with all pets adopted from Helen Woodward Animal Center.
Helen Woodward Animal Center is located at 6523 Helen Woodward Way in Rancho Santa Fe. Kennels are open daily Monday through Friday 12 to 6 p.m.; Saturdays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (last application accepted 15 minutes before closing).
