Jewel of the Lotus (JOL) was established in 1975 by Tsajon von Lixfeld, Gemologist and curator of Asian art. It represents years of research and trading in the Far East, India, Nepal, Tibet, Burma, and Thailand. JOL purveys not only fine Asian antiques and renditions, but magnificent jewelry, traditional and designer. Fine quality hand crafted workmanship is the prerequisite for JOL. The owners, Tsajon and his wife, Kamalia, personally select and vet all merchandise, certifying all antiques and jewelry.
Jewel of the Lotus is recognized as the curator of quality Asian antiques and Asian rendition artifacts, jewelry, paintings and oriental carpets. The magnificent, antique Indian gold jewelry is attributed to Tsajon, gemologist and appraiser, but the lustrous gold pearl jewelry is the work of Kamalia, designer and jewelry maker.

He’s Always in the SPOTlight!
With star like qualities, Spot has a special gift for being in front of the camera, although it helps when you have no “bad side”. Spot is a 10-month old domestic short hair who is curious, friendly and loves showing off his fluff. Being always in the spotlight, Spot’s black patches contrast beautifully with his silky white fur. One look at his cute round face is enough to quickly become his greatest fan. He weighs about 8 lbs.
He’s waiting to meet you at Helen Woodward Animal Center. His adoption fee is $126. He has been altered and is up-to-date on all of his vaccinations. As with all pets adopted from Helen Woodward Animal Center, he is micro-chipped for identification.
Helen Woodward Animal Center is located at 6523 Helen Woodward Way in Rancho Santa Fe. Kennels are open daily Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturdays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (last application accepted 15 minutes before closing).
