Meet Peanut — a 6-month-old Hound-Shepherd blend with the sweetest soul and a gentle heart. This handsome pup may be a little shy at first, but it doesn’t take long for his soft, affectionate personality to shine through. Once Peanut feels comfortable, he loves exploring the world around him, chasing after toys, and snuggling up close for some well-earned cuddle time.
San Diego Seals Team Captain Wes Berg stopped by Helen Woodward Animal Center to help Peanut find his forever family — and the two hit it off instantly!
“We’re buddies now,” Berg said after spending the morning with Peanut. “We got him a tennis ball we can play with, and now we’re friends.”
Peanut is looking for a kind, patient family who can help him blossom into the brave, happy pup he’s meant to be. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who’ll reward your patience with endless affection, come meet Peanut! 💙 He is waiting for you at Helen Woodward Animal Center, which is located at 6461 El Apajo Road in Rancho Santa Fe.
