North County Olive Oil
Our vision is to share with you our incredible experience in the California olive oil industry. As the first olive trees in California were planted at the San Diego de Alcala Mission, we have an enormous amount of local history around the olive oil industry to share with you.
We sell extra virgin olive oils and vineyards from California olives and grapes, working with the top producers and representing a variety of regions which offer unique styles from many varietals and cultivars of local California olives. We look for producers that promote sustainable practices in the grove and throughout their day to day practices.
Our Olive Oil Tastings offer a unique experience created around a variety of artisan producers of California extra virgin oil, wine, and specialty artisan products. Stop by this Sunday and taste some delicious olive oil yourself!

Helen Woodward Animal Center Pet Of The Week
Pilot Will Fly You to Funtown!
A black German Shepherd blend dives down one of Helen Woodward Animal Center’s fenced in lawns chasing a red squeaky toy. He snatches the plushie in his mouth then takes off at Mach 2 back to the human who threw it. He’ll tug on the toy for a second after presenting it to them before giving in – he wants another go. Pilot will stare at you with a goofy grin on his face waiting on his personal air traffic controller to give him the all clear to launch once again. But Pilot isn’t a one plane poochy. When he empties his fuel tank in the yard, he loves nothing more than to get some R&R with his favorite human by snuggling up on the couch and dozing off while they watch a movie. Pilot would prefer to fly with experienced German Shepherd owners who know how to utilize his skills and he’ll wanna be at an airport with a decent sized runway. Come on down and fly with Pilot today!
Pilot is waiting to meet you at Helen Woodward Animal Center. His adoption fee is $499. He has been altered and is up-to-date on all of his vaccinations. He is microchipped for identification as with all pets adopted from Helen Woodward Animal Center.
Helen Woodward Animal Center is located at 6523 Helen Woodward Way in Rancho Santa Fe. Kennels are open daily Monday through Friday 12 to 6 p.m.; Saturdays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (last application accepted 15 minutes before closing).
