About Us
After a combined total of 30 years in the eatery biz, owners Scott Breshears and Kelin Jones have garnered every skill of kitchen management and creative cookery. In an interesting twist of fate, Jones started his career with Breshears at the helm in a small pizza shop in Mission Valley in 2004. When the restaurant closed, they went their separate ways. Kelin went on to work the Italian vibe as one of the best dough spinners in San Diego. Scott progressed into management and sous chef in top downtown kitchens.
In 2015, a downtown restaurant opened with Scott at the helm as executive chef… imagine his surprise when Jones showed up for the sous chef position! It didn’t take long to realize that they clicked and success was inevitable. They both had dreams of having their own kitchen, so after research and careful planning, they launched Culinary Elite.
They positioned their skills, marketing brand, clean-cut look, new equipment, and extra compliant cleanliness into a top notch food booth and took it “to the streets.” Rancho Santa Fe Farmer’s Market was top on their list to introduce their new business, and they launched their first week of business in October 2017. “CE” books holiday events and dinners, company gigs, and celebrations for catering with great reviews. Their booth features comfort food with an upscale Philly Cheesesteak vibe, using authentic rolls from Philly. Don’t miss your chance to taste the incredible flavors they offer!

If you’re looking for a sweet treat to liven up your days, look no further than Éclair! This 4-month-old Labrador Retriever blend has a love for life and a penchant for playtime. Éclair loves any and all squishy chew toys you can give him. He’s not picky – if it squeezes when he chews it, he’ll cherish it forever. Be sure to challenge him in a game of tug-o-war for extra fun! Éclair is also a pro when it comes to walking on leash. He’ll walk with you for miles and is just happy to be by your side!
