Social Change Butterfly is an artistic endeavor created by Abby Williams to bring positive change to the world by donating 50% of proceeds to educate and feed children in poverty. Abby began making handmade jewelry & crafts to help raise money for the organization that she and her husband founded in 2007. Rascal Will Melt Your Heart!
“So many people are shut up tight inside themselves like boxes, yet they would open up, unfolding quite wonderfully, if only you were interested in them.” In 1958, Sylvia Plath had no idea she just perfectly described Rascal, a Cur blend born 65 years after she wrote her short story. This sweet boy sits in the back of his kennel, staring out at the world only wishing for someone to notice him. When you first meet him, he may lower his head and back away – Rascal’s not used to getting attention. But if you’re only a little patient, and give him time to build his confidence, he melts into your arms and unveils the goofy personality buried within all along. If you win his trust he’ll shower you with all the love and affection he’s been saving for the right person. He’ll race across your lawn chasing tennis balls – regardless if you threw them. He’ll flop into your lap as you watch TV, and return all the patience, love, and support you first showed him.
Rascal is waiting to meet you at Helen Woodward Animal Center. His adoption fee is $499. He has been altered and is up-to-date on all of his vaccinations. He is microchipped for identification as with all pets adopted from Helen Woodward Animal Center.
Helen Woodward Animal Center is located at 6461 El Apajo Road in Rancho Santa Fe. Kennels are open Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information call 858-756-4117, option #1.
